How does your mattress differ from some of your competitors like Casper and Tuft & Needle?
First of all, our parent company is called Relief-Mart, Inc. and we have been manufacturing all U.S.A. made mattresses for over 15 years. What is the indentation force deflection (ifd) of the queen size and what range are the firmness adjustment layers?
That is a very good and question and thorough question! Since we manufacture everything right in our Southern California factory and produce every type of mattress, we have practically every range of firmness possible. Specifically, the indentation Force Deflection (IFD), also known as the Indentation Load Deflection (ILD) is approximately 17 for the top comfort layers and 36 for the bottom base layer (there is always a tolerance range). We have used comfort layers that were twice as soft or even twice as firm, but we certainly see an in between the most often. With the base layer, we would not usually want to make such a drastic change, so in some cases we may add an in between transition layer, but we still have all ranges of possibilities and can even re-enforce the mattress in an extreme obese situation, though we have a 500 lb. per person and 1000 overall weight limit on the mattress already, so that is highly unlikely
Why is the pricing for the full size like 1600 but the king is only 900?
We just brought down the price of the King to about half of where it was in anticipation of our much higher volumes as we do a full scale launch of our Snuggle-Pedic Mattress over the next month. As we produce each size in the volumes necessary to offer this lower pricing, we will be dropping the price point for that particular size. Our full size mattress production run will be finished within a week or so and trigger a steep drop in pricing at that time.
Does anyone have experience with Purple vs Snuggle-Pedic?
In looking at the differences between the Purple mattress and the Snuggle-Pedic mattress, here are some considerations: Purple uses an elastic polymer that is fashioned into square pockets that would be very firm, but they do bend in different directions to allow give. The resulting feel is quite different than the contouring surface that Snuggle-Pedic uses with the buoyant Snuggle-Flex memory foam. While the elastic polymer configuration does allow open pockets on the surface of the Purple mattress, Snuggle-Pedic's patented Airflow Transfer System allows thousands of holes to connect with open channels underneath, so there is a full airflow circulation that leads in and out of the mattress. As far as longevity goes, Purple has a 10-year warranty to the Snuggle-Pedic 20-year warranty. Snuggle-Pedic also offers a 120-night sleep trial and Purple only offers their 100-night trial if you purchase direct from them. The Snuggle-Pedic modular cover system allows modifications to alter the mattress comfort, support and feel to suit a customer's needs and we do so at no cost whatsoever.

I’m sure you’re in the same “analysis paralysis” boat I was in a few weeks ago. I had already spent countless hours researching mattresses and settled on a Purple. Really wanted to like it, and loved their customer service but the mattress was too tough for me as well as my wife. I was up around 3:45 AM on morning as I couldn’t sleep and found all the amazing reviews on The SnugglePedic and said “what the hell it can’t be worse”
Delivered a couple days later in an easy to carry box. (I’ve had other mattresses delivered, this one was definitely on the lighter side). Unboxed and had it setup on my box springs in 15 minutes. No lingering odor what-so-ever. First night sleeping on it was heaven, and we’ve had some of the best sleep of our lives so far.
Every time I lay on it I can feel my pressure points release. Never have that sunk feeling like memory foam, but still basically 0% motion transfer. It’s been well over 100 degrees outside but this mattress sleeps very cool.
We tried a down pillow topper to go with this because we like really soft beds, but we opted to go back to just the regular ol snugglepedic !

After on line shopping and never seeing reviews with 5 stars, I was drawn to read up on Snuggle-Pedic. With all the great reviews--I though, how could I go wrong? WELL I COULD NOT AND DID NOT!!! I ordered the mattress, it arrived, all rolled up. Carefully, following the instructions, I opened it up.
The first time I layed on it---I was sooo impressed!! And, being in the Houston area, with the crazy weather (mostly humid), I could really tell the difference in the "cooling" of this mattress.
I slept on it for about 2 weeks, and wanted it a little softer.
Following instructions, I contacted customer service and spoke with Stephanie. She walked thru some questions about what few issues I was having and sent some items to customize the mattress.
It was great before---and now---with the added enhancers---I AM SOOOOOO IN LOVE WITH THIS MATTRESS AND THE COMPANY!! Last night I slept on the mattress with the new pieces (which zip into the mattress---really cool--) and slept so soundly. I had been sleeping good on the mattress, but now... NOW... I am just, well, over the top.
The mattress is well worth the price--- and what you get for it, the warranty, customer service, etc... is very worth it!!
